    serena louder than sharapova? seriously, sharapova has the most annoying “grunt” ever she be screaming, furthermore if serena’s grunt is offensive then sharapova’s must be worth a fine additionally serena doesn’t grunt the entire match she has been on the loud side at times but nothing like sharapova which is the reason why she’s usually not included in these videos

    how can these fans say they want a ban on grunting?! do they know how physically demanding the game is? can they play at that level? No! it’s part of tennis and if they don’t like it they shouldn’t fucking watch!

    There is nothing sexier than a woman grunting. I guess these men complaining have never heard it before. /facepalm

    Nadal grunts like an animal but NOBODY dared to question him.

    Remember Kuerten? This whole complain thing is for people who have nothing to do.

    It annoys me how when people talk about grunting in tennis they only refer to sharapova and vika. I find the williams sisters growls more offensive and frankly scary lol

    The extended grunt, way after the energy has been expended, and the ball half away towards the opponent, is deliberate and designed to put off the opponent – period.

    Monica Seles started the rot, It wouldn’t surprise me if she was coached/advised by one of her team to do so.

    I don’t recall Martina Navratilova cheating like this.The men grunt but no where near as much.

    When the TV shows women playing who have loud grunting tactics I turn off the sound as the players’ piss me off.

    I’m so glad that Vika Azarenka won the Aus Open. Her ‘grunting/howling/shrieking’ or whatever you want to call it is actually her breathing technique not a matter to put off. If you watch her matches you see that the noise she makes is consistent all through every point of the match unlike other players such as Serena or Sharapova- they get louder when they are losing. People should just get over it, it’s how they have been taught to play tennis. Leave them alone! Go Vika!

    People who are offended by the grunting probably don’t have enough good sex. I mean really. What should be banned is not grunting but Nadal picking his ass before each point. THAT is annoying. And Kvitova’s scream when she wins a point-God! Like she was stabbed in the heart or smth.
    What’s next? Pple complaining that the ball makes to much noise when it hits the racquet? And what about the viewers who gasp and scream DURING a point? That is more annoying than Sharapova’s or Azarenka’s grunting

    No one grunts louder than Michelle Larcher de Brito, I could swear everytime she hits the ball it sounded like she’s crashing down from a roller coaster. But besides how loud it was I quite enjoyed it lol

    Azarenka doesn’t grunt, she howls almost continuously, sort of like a car alarm. I always hope she’ll get knocked out of any tournament I’m watching and restore the peace. Swilliams once lost a point for yelling during one, so it is against the rules, but when one makes it their copycat trademark they are holding officials and fans hostage to their “personal” style, just like Nadal picking his butt a few hundred times per match.

    @frfrrrfrrrrrr it’s offensive because they’re over doing it , sounds like they’re in a bedroom not a tennis court
